We are delighted to be working with one of Ireland's leading food manufacturers as they look to recruit a Supply Chain Manager to be at the heart of ensuring seamless market demand fulfillment through strategic supply and production planning. You'll be the linchpin between demand and production, orchestrating a perfect harmony between market needs and site output. From sourcing raw materials to dispatching finished goods, your expertise will drive on-time, quality deliveries.

Lead the charge in optimizing inventory levels, refining data reporting accuracy, and spearheading efficiency projects in production and logistics. You'll craft a strategic warehouse plan, ensuring operational continuity and resilience. But it's not just about operations; you'll foster a team culture centered on performance, safety, and quality while nurturing vital supplier relationships.

  • Collaborate closely with demand planning and production teams to align with market requirements, ensuring clear communication and understanding.
  • Oversee end-to-end supply planning, ensuring the site meets capacity requirements through effective production scheduling and planning.
  • Manage raw material supply, packaging, and finished goods dispatch, prioritizing on-time delivery and quality assurance.
  • Maintain optimal stock and inventory levels on-site, monitoring and adjusting based on agreed-upon metrics.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of plant-wide supply data metrics from ERP/MES systems.
  • Lead the supply planning team to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive efficiencies in production, materials, and warehouse management.
  • 5+ years' experience in Supply Planning role
  • Experience of successfully leading a team
  • Background in FMCG with experience of all aspects of the End-to-End Supply Planning,
  • Exposure to and experience of lean principles and methodologies
  • The ability to positively contribute to strategic business decision-making
