Job Title: Senior Accounts Assistant (AP & AR)
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum
Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Location: Crawley - Initially office-based, with hybrid working options available after 3 months
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices
- Conduct credit checks on new customers
- Generate and issue invoices promptly
- Follow up on overdue invoices and negotiate payment plans
- Reconcile incoming payments and prepare aged debtor reports
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
- Contribute to month-end closing processes, including accruals and prepayments
- Process expense claims and supplier invoices efficiently
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in credit control, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional teamwork skills
- Proven problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills
