About the Finance Business Partner/FP&A opportunity.
We have partnered with a maintenance business based in East London who have a Finance Business Partner opportunity available. This role acts as a key link between Finance and the wider business, providing insights, analysis, and strategic support to drive decision making and improve business performance
The ideal candidate will combine strong financial acumen with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Business Partnering:
Act as a trusted advisor to senior managment, providing financial insights and guidance to support strategic and operational decisions.
Collaborate with business units to understand performance drivers, risks, and opportunities.
Financial Planning & Forecasting:
Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support planning and investment decisions.
Reporting & Analysis:
Deliver accurate and timely management reporting, highlighting key trends, KPIs, and variances.
Translate complex financial data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
Performance Management:
Support business units in delivering against financial targets and cost management initiatives.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, profitability, and ROI.
Strategic Projects:
Contribute financial expertise to cross-functional projects such as pricing, investments, new product launches, or process improvements.
Support M&A, capital allocation, and other ad-hoc strategic initiatives.
Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or strong relevant experience.
Proven track record in FP&A, finance business partnering, or commercial finance roles. Experience in a manteinance/property firm would be highly desirable.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and communicate insights clearly.
Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SAP, Hyperion, Anaplan) is advantageous.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and challenge at all levels.
