Morgan McKinley is working with a lovely company based in the Uckfield area who is looking for a Finance Assistant to join their Accounts team. The Finance Assistant role will be supporting the Accountant and FC with everyday accounting duties. This is ideal for someone with some experience working in an Accounts Assistant - Finance Assistant type role looking to kick start their accounting career or utilise their skills.
Salary: £25-27K
Location: Uckfield, East Sussex - 4 days office based - 1 day from home
Finance Assistant duties:
- Processing expenses
- Entering supplier invoices
- Dealing with invoice / payment queries
- Weekly payment runs
- Reconciliations
- Raising and sending customer invoices
- Preparing and posting month end journals
- Maintaining the fixed asset register
Skills and experience:
- Ideally have some experience working in an Accounts, Finance Assistant type role
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
- Good IT skills
