Job Description

Morgan McKinley's HR Specialist Team are recruiting for an HR Business Partner. This exciting opportunity will be working with our client in the Sussex area.

This is a fantastic business who are seeking an HR Business Partner to join their fast growing Financial Services Business.

The Company

With offices around the world our client is a market leading financial services firm. The talent and passion of their people is critical to their success and as such they are looking to recruit an HR Business Partner to help manage the Talent Advisory Function.

The Role

  • Provide talent advisory support to business leaders Providing Executive team coaching, support and guidance
  • Contribute to company strategy as part of the Executive leadership team
  • Developing effective HR procedures and policies
  • Help to shape elements of global segment/function-specific talent strategies to address business priorities and identifying talent issues and implementing enterprise initiatives within the scope and priorities of the global HR operating model.
  • Providing effective case management of disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance management, bringing a problem solving approach to complex HR issues
  • Recruiting the very best people to our business, ensuring the employer brand is strong

The Candidate

  • Strong HR business partner experience in a similar role within a relationship oriented business in financial services
  • Prior experience of working as an HRBP within a financial services organisation
  • Good understanding of corporate and investment banking industry
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in HR or related area
  • Strong evidence of partnering with senior business leaders on employee relation issues and effectively influencing them is essential
  • Experience operating in different EMEA jurisdictions
  • Ability to find solutions to move things forward in complex and ambiguous situations
  • Strong communication and problem solving skills able to interface at all levels of the organisation
  • Passion for HR, innovative solutions and process improvement
  • Experience of working with Centres Of Expertise and Shared Services
