Job Description

Opportunity to work as a *Logistics and Fulfilment Specialist* for the Big 4 Tech company! Order and inventory management

The Hardware Logistics and Fulfilment team is looking for a Logistics and Fulfilment Specialist within B2C Order Management to help drive the hardware business forward. As a part of this team, you will apply your knowledge of supply chain principles and your problem-solving prowess to support reporting, fulfilment and transportation. You will assist in managing all operational aspects for two fulfilment centres and ensure all customer issues are addressed quickly and completely.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily inbound and outbounds operations and escalations
  • Work with internal/external partners to support resolution of backlog and exceptions (EDI errors, transportation delays, short-shipments, damages, returns, warehouse performance and other non-conforming issues)
  • Metrics reporting and validation not limited to clean ship, order backlog, on time shipment and delivery
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to anticipate supply and demand issues
  • Develop deep understanding of order management system, inventory management system, and data analysis and reporting tools
  • Identify opportunities to optimize and streamline operations and mitigate common issues
  • Support new projects and tasks as necessary

Tasks:

  • Lead weekly operational calls with DC's to drive resolution on open items
  • Monitor daily reporting to ensure all orders are shipped in timely manner
  • Create daily inbound and outbound forecast on a weekly basis and share with DC's
  • Set customer tier's and FC capacity
  • Track inbounds and ensure delivery and receipt
  • Monitor inventory levels, trigger replenishment and troubleshoot inventory discrepancies
  • Work with transportation to ensure there is capacity for outbound orders
  • Drive resolution to customer service issues
  • NPI launch preparation
  • Systems initiatives (SAP, TMS)

Skill/Experience/Education

Mandatory- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience - 1 year experience in order management, logistics or hardware operations - Experience working with order and inventory management systems

Desired- Experience collaborating and working cross-functionally with operations, finance, sales, planning and engineering teams - Experience in developing stakeholder relationships - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Highly organized and self-started with attention to detail - Intermediate spreadsheet skills - SQL skills
