Job Description

Payroll Team Manager, you will be leading, motivating and inspiring a team of Payroll Professionals who manage several high volume and high value monthly Payrolls across the business

Payroll Team Manager

  • Responsibility for leading the Payroll Administrators/professionals team and full people management
  • Responsibility for managing key relationships with internal & external stakeholders
  • Responsibility for undertaking regular on-going performance reviews (1:1's), identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, and individual developmen
  • Responsibility for providing and maintaining regular data/statistics/reports on team to understand team productivity and individual's performance

Your skills and qualifications:

  • CIPP or equivalent (or willing to work towards)
  • Extensive Payroll Experience ideally in a Shared Service environment
  • People Management/Leadership Skills (Coaching/Mentoring)
  • In depth payroll legislation knowledge, including appreciation for future changes and impact on payroll function
  • Experience of data interrogation in order to analyse, troubleshoot and problem solve
  • IT Literate (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Resource Link system knowledge would be desirable
