Morgan McKinley is recruiting for a Project Manager on behalf of our leading financial clients based in Belfast. The Project Manager will be rewarded with a daily salary of up to £600 on an initial 6 month contract.
At least 6 -years of experience supporting projects from a PM/BA perspective
At least 10 years work experience in Banking & Capital Markets.
Detailed knowledge of Initial Margin rules
Experience of managing & delivering previous phases of Uncleared Margin Regulation.
Detailed understanding of OTC Cleared and ETD margin workflows, end to end collateral operations workflow, IM & VM.
Previous experience of Triparty & Third Party Custody models
Experience working with key Initial Margin vendors e.g. Acadiasoft, TriResolve
Proven experience of collateral management (either as SME, experience within collateral function or in delivering projects)
Significant experience of managing large scale, complex and regulatory projects
Exposure to any of the following would be beneficial i) client outreach projects ii) LIBOR remediation iii) benchmarking ideal
Experience in developing comprehensive project plans ideally in MS-Project
Experience of facing off to senior stakeholders
Managing scope creep - impact analysis, applying control and communicating the change and any impact to relevant parties
Diligent tracking of open items and RAID items to closure
Managing vendor staff, consultants as well as non-direct reports (influencing wider project to deliver to project goals)
Develop, track and maintain project plans, the status of deliverables and the RAID log;
plan, create and execute detailed task list based on high level goals and objectives;
Manage vendor teams as required, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure success
ensure the UMR project is kept on track and rigour applied to change requests;
document meeting minutes, maintain scorecards and other PMO updates, summarising meeting actions, following up on outstanding items, escalating issues as necessary;
manage project risk, issues, assumptions and dependencies with a strong focus on ensuring there are clear owners and resolution dates;
communicate changes, enhancements, and modification of deliverables verbally or through written documentation - to project managers, vendor teams, sponsors, the bank's central coordination teams and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood; and within the workstreams they are responsible for, facilitate finding practical and simple solutions to complicated problems without sacrificing quality or core functionality by guiding and supporting business reviews, performing
impact analysis and summarise options & recommendations.
Manage one or more workstreams end-to-end, maintaining overall accountability, leading required analysis, working group meetings and workshops with stakeholders including preparation of meeting materials, as well as managing vendor teams to drive solutioning and getting the businesses regulatory compliant from a legal delivery perspective.
Support the project team with creation and maintenance of standard project/programme documentation as required
Create user guides and detailed runbooks (e.g. go-live checklists / runbooks) ensuring business and stakeholder buy-in is obtained
Achieve consensus and obtain sign-off from key stakeholders on the requirements documents.
Ensure that changes to requirements are understood, agreed to and fully documented.
Be diligent with ensuring an audit trail is kept where key decisions are made.
