Morgan McKinley is recruiting for a PMO on behalf of a leading bank based in Belfast on an initial 6 month contract. The PMO will be rewarded with a daily salary of upto £155.

Morgan McKinley is recruiting for a PMO on behalf of a leading bank based in Belfast on an initial 6 month contract. The PMO will be rewarded with a daily salary of upto £155.

The project management team is responsible for managing projects, staffing and budgets that include but not limited to foundational product & pricing coverage extensions & integrations with applications with Front, Middle and Back office systems. This will involve communication with multiple teams, managing complex dependencies, collecting and packaging status reporting covering cross functional areas.

Job description

  • Responsible to ensure that all senior management reports / presentations are updated timely.
  • Preform quality check of the updates done by the project managers for their Projects.
  • Responsible to review Projects documentation to be submitted by each project manager under Securities.
  • Provide training to Project Managers from time to time to keep them updated with the change in Project Management Processes.
  • Responsible to work on allocation of budget with Securities Head and keep track of all the changes in budgeting processes.
  • Review status of all the projects under securities areas to make sure all Project Management tools up to date.
  • Perform Quality analysis between multiple Project Management Tools

Required Skills

  • Minimum 2.1 degree. Master degree in Finance would be preferred.
  • Understand SDLC/Agile methodology
  • Creatively minded, having the skills to create innovative, and well-designed communication material.
  • Excellent organisational skills are mandatory. You must have a meticulous and thorough approach to work.
  • Excellent and clear communication skills are a must.
  • Excellent written skills are a must
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, Visio and Project.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Project Management or Project Management Office
  • Experience forecasting and reporting financials.

Good to have

  • Good Understanting of Capital Markets domain to have better view on the Securities Reference Data domain
  • Good understanding of financial instruments.
