The permanent Division of Morgan McKinley (Milton Keynes) are reruiting for an experience Finance Business Partner to work closely with operations and clients, for a market leading logistics company in Milton Keynes

Role Purpose
To provide, analyse and interpret accurate and timely financial and operational management information to internal and customer time lines, recommending areas of focus as appropriate. To maintain a financial control environment to ensure accuracy and integrity of information. Heavy support for ad hoc information requirements & project initiatives to ensure operational effectiveness during a period of significant change.

Principal Accountabilities
* Ensure that all contract management reporting is produced in a timely and accurate
manner to customer agreed timetables in agreed format
* Compilation and preparation of periodic budgets and forecasts for contracts and the company
* Active contribution to customer relationship through weekly and ad hoc review meetings
* Ensure weekly, monthly and annual management reporting is produced in a
timely and accurate manner with variance analysis provided as required
* Provide support to the operation, Site Manager and wider business on all financial and
allied operational matters relating to the contracts operations and development
including active engagement with operational teams
* Provide support, development and leadership to ensure the maintenance of the control
environment and the improvement of financial and operational practices
* Finance Lead on several project initiatives including project evaluation
* Manage the finance change agenda
* Presentations internally and to customers on key BAU finance variances and project
tracking and deliverables
* Support Group initiatives as requested
* Maintain a safe working environment in compliance with all HSE directives
* Ad Hoc tasks and projects as reasonably required by the management teams

Performance Measures - KPIs
* Ensure all internal and customer reporting deadlines are met as agreed
* Maintain control and authorisation mechanisms to ensure compliance to internal and
external audit
* Ensure any direct reports receive a timely PDR and associated training plan as
necessary

* Site, Contract, Site Manager, Operations Managers, Operations Directors, Finance
Director
* Customer's Operations and Finance representatives
*Group Finance, Group Support Function Teams and Site Teams
* External Authorities

Dimensions / Authorities / Skills
* Qualifications: Qualified
* Accuracy and attention to detail
* Advanced excel skills including the ability to use formulas to a good standard
* Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
* Change management experience
* Self-motivated and works under own initiative
* Previous 3PL experience (Retail) preferred

The role of Finance Business Partner is offered with a salary upto £70K + Benefits
