Job Summary
You will be deployed to an MOE affiliated school. You will provide general support for students, staff, and school operations-including cleanliness, logistics, emergencies, and safety-while carrying out duties as assigned by school leaders.
Responsibilities
- To assist student in times of need for eg, lost & found items, change of uniform, cleaning of students with vomiting, locating teacher/classroom/ parent
- To collect items from classroom after school if needs arise
- To escort student for medical treatment if needs arise
- To maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the General Office, classrooms & special rooms
- To disinfect rooms as and when required
- To assist in logistic matters for eg, preparation of rooms for school events and functions including of shifting of furniture.
- To assist delivery and distributing external materials to classrooms.
- To assist in disinfecting of furniture, and equipment during times of emergency or pandemic
- To comply with any requirement or cleaning schedule & standards set by the school
- To escort contractors if needs arise
- To perform gate duties during school arrival and dismissal times and during times of heavy traffic.
- To dispatch mails, information, and students' items
- To assist in packing of items for school
- Any other duties assigned by School Leaders / OMs / AM
Requirements
- At least 2 years' experience working in local primary school environment
- Medically fit and able to perform physical tasks associated with the role.
- Strong ability to work effectively as a team player and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
- Good communication and inter-personal skills to interact effectively with staff, students, and other stakeholders.
Additional Details
- Work Area: Punggol
- Working Schedule (Inclusive of 30 mins lunch break):
- Mondays to Thursdays: 6.00am to 3.00pm OR 10.00am to 7.00pm
- Friday: 6.00am to 2.30pm OR 10.30am to 7.00pm
- Rest Days: The role is primarily scheduled on weekdays. However, the candidate may occasionally be required to work on Saturdays, Sundays, or gazetted public holidays. Additional remuneration may be proposed for such assignments.
- Contract Period: 1 Jan 2026 to 31 Dec 2026 (12 months), with the option to extend for an addtional one year subject to the school's approval
