Morgan McKinley is working in partnership with a leading Private Equity Firm currently looking for a 24 months contractor to join their team.

Real Estate Finance Ops

Job Description

This role is based in Singapore and sits within the Real Estate Finance team. Reporting directly to the Head of Real Estate Finance Singapore, the candidate will be a key finance member leading the fund finance function and working closely with the Real Estate Acquisition, asset management and other functional teams on fund operations and management, fund reporting and other special projects/initiatives.

o Fund Operations

  • Perform liquidity projections and monitoring of the Asia real estate funds for senior management
  • Coordination of capital activities and related reporting with Global Fund Finance team in New York
  • Ongoing LPA and AIFMD compliance monitoring and coordination with fund custodian in Luxembourg
  • Management of Singapore investment holding company structure oversight of accounting service provider

o Fund Reporting

  • Liaise with accounting service provider and stakeholders on fund related matters
  • Liaise with portfolio companies and stakeholders to handle investor queries and prepare quarterly investor reports
  • Perform monthly/quarterly/annual/ad-hoc reporting for senior management

o Manage special projects/initiatives that drives value for the business and/or enhance

processes and efficiency of the finance function

o Able to build and maintain relationships and manage a diverse range of stakeholders both

internally and externally across Asia, Europe and US

As a successful applicant, you would have the following Skills & Qualifications:

Competencies & Personal Traits

  • 5+ years of accounting/financial analysis experience
  • Experience in a Big 4 or private equity firm will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of real estate, including market fundamentals will be an advantage
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to build and maintain relationships and navigate diverse stakeholders
  • Self-motivated with a passion for making business processes more efficient and successful
  • Excellent communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills necessary
  • Drive and desire to learn new technologies and grow technical and functional skill sets
