Job Description

Our client is a Single Family Office looking to expand their finance team in Singapore, we are looking for someone with PE experience


  • Supervise and oversee the daily financial and operational affairs of trusts, companies, and their holdings
  • Evaluate financial statements
  • Ensure timely completion of month-end closing procedures.
  • Verify that accounting records are reconciled accurately with bank statements, investment reports, and custodian documents.
  • Monitor and enforce regulatory, contractual, and internal compliance for financial, accounting, tax, and administrative matters in Singapore as well as other jurisdictions
  • Proactively oversee and manage the annual audit process.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks by enhancing internal controls and refining processes.
  • Collaborate with departments and senior management to develop annual budgets. Monitor budget performance, identify deviations, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement corrective actions.
  • Take the lead in liaising with various financial institutions to handle banking operations, account administration, and KYC for relevant entities.
  • Manage cash flows for relevant entities to ensure appropriate working capital and efficient allocation of surplus funds in coordination with the treasury team.
  • Supervise and optimize the payments function while ensuring the presence of effective controls.
  • Work closely with the investment team to ensure timely execution of investment transactions.
  • Review and comprehend the content and implications of agreements, contracts, loan documents, and other investment-related materials such as subscription agreements.
  • Coordinate with the Global Custodian to ensure proper execution, settlement, and reporting of trades.
  • Cultivate relationships with outsourced service providers including bankers, auditors, accountants, corporate secretaries, custodians, tax agents, and trustees to ensure high-quality deliverables and adherence to agreed-upon service levels.
  • Review and confirm that fees charged by outsourced service providers align with negotiated fee schedules. Monitor and track fees paid to various service providers and be prepared to assess their reasonableness.
