Join a globally recognized online travel platform (OTA) and lead strategic supplier acquisition across Japan's attractions, activities, and experiential travel market. As a Senior Sales Manager, you will drive new business development, negotiate commercial agreements, and expand high-value partnerships within Japan's tourism ecosystem. This role directly contributes to revenue growth, inventory expansion, and long-term market competitiveness in the Japanese travel industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new attraction, experience, and transportation partners across Japan.
- Lead full-cycle commercial negotiations including pricing, inventory allocation, and contract structuring.
- Onboard new travel products and optimize their positioning within the digital platform.
- Develop growth strategies to increase traffic, bookings, and overall partner performance.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to execute promotional and demand-generation campaigns.
- Analyze market trends, competitor positioning, and performance metrics to inform strategic decisions.
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with suppliers and tourism stakeholders.
- Coordinate with regional operations teams to enhance product competitiveness and operational efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 5-8+ years of experience in travel industry business development, supply acquisition, or product development roles.
- Proven track record in new partner acquisition and commercial contract negotiation.
- Experience working with attractions, ticketing, activities, transportation, or experiential travel products.
- Strong network within major travel companies, tourism boards, or attraction operators in Japan.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve revenue targets through strategic planning and execution.
