A leading Automotive Technology and Innovation company is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support its continued growth in Japan.
This is a highly strategic role where you will serve as a key bridge between global and local stakeholders, helping establish and strengthen HR practices while partnering closely with senior business leaders. Working directly with the Country Manager and leadership team, you will drive people initiatives that support business growth, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to align HR strategies, policies, and initiatives with organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with regional and global HR teams to establish and implement robust HR programs and best practices in Japan.
- Work closely with the Country Manager to execute business and people strategies that support growth objectives.
- Lead talent management, organizational development, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Support employee relations activities while fostering a positive and high-performing workplace culture.
- Drive workforce planning and organizational effectiveness projects.
- Provide HR guidance and coaching to managers and business stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of scalable HR processes and people programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 6+ years of experience in Human Resources, including significant HR Business Partner experience.
- Strong strategic HR experience supporting business growth and organizational transformation.
- Proven experience partnering with business leaders and influencing stakeholders.
- Experience designing and implementing Talent Management, Organizational Development, and Employee Relations initiatives.
- Experience working within international or multicultural organizations.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and people strategy implementation.
Soft Skills:

- Experience establishing or scaling HR functions within growing organizations.
- Knowledge of change management and organizational transformation methodologies.
- Experience supporting global HR initiatives and cross-border projects.
- Professional HR certifications are advantageous.
