Key Responsibilities
- Partner with executive leadership and regional stakeholders to align HR strategies with business objectives
- Lead organizational development and change management initiatives to support business growth and modernization
- Interpret workforce metrics and financial data to support strategic decision-making and workforce planning
- Translate global HR frameworks into locally compliant HR policies and procedures for the Japan market
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for senior-level and strategic hiring needs
- Ensure compliance with Japanese labor laws, statutory requirements, and government audit standards
- Handle employee relations matters including investigations, conflict resolution, and contract management
- Collaborate with global teams to improve HR workflows, operational efficiency, and employee experience initiatives
- Drive employee engagement, retention, and employer branding programs across the organization
- Build strong talent pipelines through professional networking and long-term workforce planning
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Approximately 8-10 years of experience in full-spectrum HR management, including at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of Japanese labor law, compliance regulations, and HR best practices
- Experience partnering with senior leadership on organizational strategy and workforce planning
- Proven ability to manage organizational change and transformation initiatives
- Experience analyzing HR metrics, workforce data, and financial reports to support business decisions
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
