Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a Production Operator for a temporary position at a manufacturing and innovation facility based in Wexford. This role plays a key part in ensuring high standards of product quality, operational efficiency, and compliance with food safety guidelines. The successful candidate will contribute across various production functions including materials handling, processing, blending, filling, and labelling.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform production activities in materials handling, processing, blending, filling, and labelling.
Maintain batch records in accordance with quality system guidelines.
Prepare equipment prior to use to ensure sanitary and safe operation.
Operate machinery for proper packaging of ingredients.
Maintain manufacturing equipment to GMP standards.
Conduct final quality checks before shipment.
Adhere to confidentiality standards regarding processes and ingredients.
Follow all safety and quality policies to protect product integrity and intellectual property.
Skills & Experience Required:
Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years' experience in a Food, Beverage, or Pharmaceutical environment.
Good mechanical aptitude and comfort working with production equipment.
Demonstrated computer literacy; SAP and SCADA experience an advantage.
Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Strong organisational skills, quality focus, and attention to detail.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Fork truck experience is desirable.
Compensation & Benefits:
Base Salary: €35,000
Shift Allowance: 20% (total annual compensation approx. €42,000)
(Two-cycle shift: 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm; earlier finish on Fridays at 2pm and 9pm respectively)
