    Morgan McKinley is delighted to be working in partnership with a leading organisation based in Waterford to recruit an experienced Supply Planner for a permanent position.

    This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regulated, fast-paced environment where you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials and finished goods across the supply chain. The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative operations team, contributing to the company's commitment to quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

    Responsibilities include but are limited to:

    • Develop and maintain robust short-, medium-, and long-term supply and production plans in alignment with business forecasts and customer demand.
    • Collaborate closely with the demand planning and commercial teams to review and validate forecasts, identifying potential gaps or risks.
    • Translate demand forecasts into executable production and supply schedules, ensuring resource and capacity alignment.
    • Manage planning cycles within the ERP/MRP system, ensuring data accuracy, parameter optimisation, and effective exception management.
    • Monitor inventory levels across raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods to ensure adequate supply without overstocking.
    • Analyse historical trends, market data, and forecast accuracy to continuously improve planning models and processes.
    • Lead supply review meetings, presenting key planning insights, supply risks, and recommended corrective actions.
    • Support the S&OP process through accurate data analysis, reporting, and scenario modelling

    Key requirements:

    • 3+ years' experience in supply planning or production planning within a regulated industry (pharmaceutical, medical device, or food manufacturing preferred).
    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
    • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes.
