    Fantastic opportunity for an experienced, commercially focused and detail orientated Financial Accountant to join a leading multinational organisation in the South East on a 16-month contract. The successful candidate will take ownership of financial reporting, planning, and analysis across manufacturing processes, operational cost centres, and employee-related costs and will work closely with Operations and Finance teams to provide high-quality financial insight and support informed decision-making.

    Key Requirements:

    • Lead financial reporting for capital projects and provide ongoing support to the Operations Management team
    • Manage financial reporting processes and calculations related to fixed asset depreciation
    • Oversee financial reporting for departmental cost centres and support department management
    • Prepare budgets, quarterly forecasts, and cash flow projections across capital projects, depreciation, and cost centres
    • Deliver accurate and timely month-end reporting for capital projects, depreciation, and departmental cost centres
    • Develop and maintain headcount planning for capital projects
    • Analyse labour costs and perform variance analysis to support business decision-making
    • Maintain the fixed asset register and coordinate regular cycle counts
    • Ensure compliance with SOX requirements and support statutory audits related to fixed assets
    • Support IDA grant application processes
    • Contribute to ad hoc financial analysis and projects as required by management
    • Ensure full compliance with Corporate Finance policies, U.S. GAAP, and SOX standards
    • Undertake additional finance duties as required

    Key Requirements:

    • Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent recognised qualification)
    • Minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience in a finance role, ideally within an industrial or manufacturing environment
    • Proven experience in financial and performance management, with strong systems expertise
    • Commercially minded with the ability to apply sound judgment to financial decision-making.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Highly proactive with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
