Our client, a well-established and respected mid-tier law firm based in Waterford City, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Conveyancing and Probate Solicitor to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a solicitor with a strong background in property and wills/estates law who is looking to develop their career in a progressive and supportive firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a full caseload of residential and commercial conveyancing transactions from initial instruction to completion
- Advise clients on all aspects of probate and estate administration, including drafting wills, enduring powers of attorney, and dealing with inheritance tax issues
- Handle title reviews, contract drafting, and property due diligence
- Engage with clients, financial institutions, and third parties in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulatory and legal standards
- Assist with mentoring and supervising junior staff or legal executives as needed
Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor with a current practising certificate in Ireland
- Minimum of 3+ years' post-qualification experience (PQE) in conveyancing and probate
- Demonstrated experience in handling files independently with minimal supervision
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- A client-focused and commercially aware mindset
