VP Relationship Manager - Global Corporate Banking

Join a leading global corporate bank as a VP Relationship Manager, responsible for managing and expanding relationships with Japanese multinational corporations. This role focuses on cross-border origination, credit execution, and global coordination across corporate banking products. You will act as a key global relationship point, working closely with regional and international teams to deliver integrated financial solutions to complex corporate groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage long-term relationships with Japanese multinational corporate clients.
- Drive cross-border business origination across the bank's global network.
- Originate and execute transactions across lending, transaction banking, and markets products.
- Act as the global relationship coordinator for Japanese corporate groups.
- Prepare and present credit applications, loan proposals, and business cases.
- Work closely with risk, legal, and compliance teams to support execution and approvals.
- Support strategic planning through internal reporting and structured account management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 8-10+ years of experience in corporate banking or investment banking.
- Strong experience covering Japanese multinational corporates.
- Solid credit analysis and loan structuring capabilities.
- Background within a global bank or Japanese megabank environment.
- Experience working across regions and coordinating cross-border teams.
- Strong understanding of global corporate banking products and solutions.

Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Native level
- English: Intermediate to Business level
