Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee multiple innovation projects aligned with organizational goals and partner expectations
- Guide project managers and associates on delivery, progress tracking, and risk management
- Design and launch new programs and services to expand the impact of the innovation ecosystem
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, government bodies, and key stakeholders
- Represent the organization at industry events and conferences to enhance visibility and credibility
- Identify new partnership opportunities and support business development and proposal creation
- Coach and develop team members, fostering an inclusive and high-performing culture
- Collaborate with internal departments to align project strategies with organizational priorities
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 5+ years of professional experience, including 2+ years in leadership roles
- Project management experience in consulting, innovation, or ecosystem-related initiatives
- Proven track record in stakeholder management and client relationship building
- Experience coaching team members and managing performance
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication skills to build trust with diverse stakeholders
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Hands-on mindset combining strategic thinking with execution
- High resilience and adaptability in fast-changing, complex environments
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Fluent (reading, writing, and speaking)
- English: Fluent (business-level communication)
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience working with government organizations or deep expertise in specific industries, technology, or science domains
- Advanced degree such as Master's, MBA, or PhD
