Senior Compensation Planning Specialist at Insurance Company
Roles/Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage compensation programs tailored to the unique needs of the Japanese market, ensuring alignment with company objectives and local regulations.
- Conduct market research and analysis to benchmark compensation practices, providing insights to support decision-making and enhance competitiveness.
- Collaborate with HR partners and business leaders to understand organizational goals and develop effective compensation strategies that support talent acquisition, retention, and engagement.
- Lead the annual compensation review process, including salary planning, bonus allocations, and equity grants, to ensure fairness and consistency.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and HR teams on compensation-related matters, including job evaluations, salary structures, and incentive programs.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in compensation and benefits, proactively recommending adjustments to enhance our offerings and maintain our competitive edge.
Required skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation, with a focus on designing and implementing programs in Japan.
- Strong understanding of Japanese labor laws and regulations related to compensation.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions and levels.
