Key Responsibilities
- Provide actuarial and probabilistic financial analysis for reinsurance decision-making
- Organize client data, perform checks, build models, and prepare clear reports
- Manage end-to-end projects, ensuring high quality and timely delivery
- Develop and enhance financial models using industry-standard actuarial platforms
- Present findings and conduct internal and external training sessions
- Contribute to process improvement projects and development of new services
- Research regulatory and industry trends relevant to reinsurance strategies
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 3+ years actuarial experience in non-life insurance pricing, reserving, or risk
- Strong proficiency in MS Office including Excel and Access
- Familiarity with DFA software for reinsurance modelling and optimisation
- Knowledge of actuarial pricing methods such as experience and exposure rating
- Programming skills in R, Python, or SQL are an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Statistics
- Progress with actuarial exams from recognized professional bodies
Soft Skills:
- Fluent Japanese and business-level English
- Strong interpersonal and presentation abilities
