Join a globally established corporate travel and travel technology organization as a Sales Manager Japan, leading enterprise and mid-market B2B business development in the Japanese market. You will drive new client acquisition, manage complex corporate sales cycles, and contribute to long-term strategic growth. This is a high-visibility role where you will act as the primary commercial lead in Japan, partnering closely with APAC and global stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full enterprise and mid-market B2B sales cycle, from outbound prospecting to contract negotiation and deal closure.
- Build and execute a strategic pipeline plan targeting large multinational and domestic corporate accounts in Japan.
- Engage C-suite, procurement, finance, and travel management stakeholders in complex, multi-layered deal environments.
- Lead RFP processes and collaborate with bid, marketing, and technical teams to secure major accounts.
- Deliver high-impact commercial proposals and presentations tailored to enterprise clients.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasting and structured CRM reporting.
- Provide insights on the Japan travel market to influence regional commercial strategy.
- Partner with regional APAC sales leadership and cross-functional teams to accelerate growth.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of B2B enterprise sales experience in Japan.
- Proven ability to independently build pipeline through cold outreach and proactive prospecting.
- Demonstrated success closing multi-stakeholder, long sales-cycle corporate deals.
- Experience selling to large corporations or multinational companies.
- Experience managing RFPs, commercial negotiations, and multi-year contracts.
