Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the strategic vision for the banking consulting practice.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including CxOs and department heads across Japan's banking industry.
- Drive business development initiatives, identifying new growth opportunities in IT, digital transformation, data/AI, and security.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the banking sector.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop top consulting talent to strengthen the banking practice.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Proven track record in management consulting, IT consulting, or sales leadership within the banking industry, or as a senior leader in a major bank.
- Strong relationships with executives in key Japanese banking institutions.
- Successful experience in winning large financial services deals and managing consulting execution and delivery.
Soft Skills:
- Strategic mindset with the ability to solve complex business challenges.
- Outstanding leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
Language Requirements
- Japanese: Fluent.
- English: Business-level proficiency.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in large-scale transformation projects focused on IT strategy, digitalization, or data/AI initiatives.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence at senior levels.
