Oracle DBA

Our client is seeking a database administrator experienced in Oracle to join their growing business.

Roles/Responsibilities

• Respond to and investigate database-related issues reported by users and system alerts
• Monitor database performance and ensure optimal resource utilization
• Perform regular database backups and testing recovery procedures to ensure data availability
• Proactively plan and test disaster recovery procedures to minimize downtime in case of system failures
• Perform regular tests and evaluations to ensure data security, privacy and integrity

Required skills

• 3+ years of experience with Oracle databases
• Business fluency in Japanese - users are mostly Japanese-speaking
• Proven experience in database administration and user support
