Key Responsibilities
- Execute independent second-line review, oversight, and effective challenge of front-office treasury and funding activities.
- Analyse risk profiles, liquidity stress-testing results, and risk-limit adherence, reporting key findings directly to senior executive committees.
- Review and validate liquidity stress-testing models, risk frameworks, methodologies, and underlying market assumptions.
- Evaluate and adjust risk limits to maintain alignment with the organisation's global Risk Appetite standards.
- Assess funding availability and business strategy proposals to determine capital and liquidity adequacy.
- Partner with international teams across New York, London, Hong Kong, Singapore, and India on global risk management initiatives and regulatory priorities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of financial services experience, preferably within risk management or treasury.
- Strong technical knowledge of liquidity risk, market risk management, treasury, finance, accounting, or economics.
- Understanding of regulatory expectations relating to liquidity controls and financial services industry best practices.
- Bachelor's degree.
