Key Responsibilities
- Japanese Equity Trading: Support Delta One trading activities with a primary focus on Japanese equities and related market exposures.
- Delta One Trading Support: Participate in the execution and management of Delta One trading activities within the firm's Global Markets business.
- APAC Financial Institution Coverage: Support trading activities and market requirements relating to financial institution clients across the Asia-Pacific region.
- Market Monitoring: Monitor Japanese equity market developments, trading conditions, and relevant market movements to support trading decisions.
- Trade Execution & Coordination: Contribute to accurate and timely trading execution while coordinating with relevant internal teams.
- Trading Risk Awareness: Monitor trading positions and market exposures in accordance with applicable internal risk management procedures and trading limits.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with trading colleagues and relevant stakeholders within the investment bank to support efficient trading operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of equity trading experience at an investment bank in Japan.
- Practical knowledge of Japanese equity markets, equity trading products, and institutional trading activities.
- Experience working within an investment banking or Global Markets trading environment.
- Understanding of trading execution, market movements, and the operational requirements of an equity trading desk.
- Suitable for candidates at the Analyst to Associate level seeking to develop their careers in Delta One trading.
