European medical device company is looking for an HR Specialist with some benefits and payroll experience to join their team in Tokyo. Roles/Responsibilities
- Benefits Administration: Manage and administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and other related benefits.
- Compliance: Ensure all benefits programs comply with federal and state regulations, including ACA, ERISA, COBRA, and HIPAA.
- Employee Support: Provide guidance and support to employees regarding benefit options, enrollment processes, and claims resolution.
- Vendor Management: Liaise with benefit providers and vendors to negotiate plans, manage relationships, and resolve issues.
- Enrollment and Communication: Oversee the open enrollment process, including employee communication, education sessions, and system updates.
Required skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in HRIS and benefits administration software.
