A leading global investment bank is seeking an experienced Head of Offshore Sales Trading Japan to lead and expand its offshore sales trading business within the Japanese market.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Offshore Sales Trading business in Japan, driving commercial growth and expanding market presence.
- Develop and execute strategic sales trading initiatives aligned with regional and global business objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, asset managers, hedge funds, and key market participants.
- Deliver market insights, trade ideas, and investment solutions to clients across offshore products and global markets.
- Collaborate closely with Trading, Research, Structuring, and Sales teams to provide integrated client solutions.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the firm's offshore trading franchise in Japan.
- Mentor and develop team members while fostering a high-performance culture.
- Represent the firm at client meetings, industry events, and strategic business discussions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of Offshore Sales Trading experience within an investment bank operating in Japan.
- Proven track record of managing and growing institutional client relationships.
- Deep understanding of global financial markets, offshore products, and investment strategies.
- Experience generating revenue through sales trading activities and business development initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of market dynamics, institutional investor behavior, and capital markets.
- Leadership experience within a front-office environment is highly advantageous.
