A global technology-driven organization is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to support large-scale IT and digital transformation initiatives in Tokyo. This role sits at the intersection of business and technology, working closely with local and global stakeholders to translate business needs into clear, actionable technical solutions. You will play a key role in system analysis, implementation, and delivery within a highly international and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and document business and system requirements to support IT initiatives
- Collaborate with IT, product, and regional stakeholders across global teams
- Translate functional requirements into clear technical specifications and documentation
- Support system implementation, integration, testing, and release activities
- Facilitate UAT, manage change requests, and ensure smooth system adoption
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst
- Strong understanding of system architecture, APIs, and data flows
- Experience working in SDLC, Agile, or Scrum-based environments
- Ability to create clear BRD, FRD, and technical documentation
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Clear and confident communication with both business and technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Adaptable mindset in a fast-paced, global environment
- Detail-oriented with a structured and logical working style
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Fluent
- English: Business level or above
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with financial systems, ERP, or HRIS platforms
- Knowledge of SQL, data mapping, or system integrations
- Familiarity with cloud-based platforms or SaaS solutions
