This English-only role focuses on end-to-end technical support and physical infrastructure installation, helping ensure 24/7 site availability. Key Responsibilities
- Install, replace, and troubleshoot server hardware, network components, and structured cabling.
- Support data center operations including white space commissioning, rack positioning, and board-level repairs.
- Prioritize ticket queues, manage escalations, and resolve issues to meet strict SLAs.
- Follow change management processes to ensure safe and accurate infrastructure updates.
- Work within a rotating shift schedule to support continuous 24/7 coverage.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Hands-on experience in data center physical infrastructure (rack/stack, cabling, hardware troubleshooting)
- Ability to diagnose hardware faults at the system board level and resolve issues quickly
- Familiarity with ticket-based support environments and change management processes
- Comfortable working in shift-based operations to support 24/7 availability
- Able to work in Kanto region data center sites
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail in critical environments
- Ability to work smoothly in a multi-disciplinary, "friction-free" team
- Reliable, professional attitude with strong ownership of tasks and escalation handling
- Ability to work calmly under time pressure and SLA-driven priorities
Language Requirements:
- English: Intermediate to Business level (English-only environment)
- Japanese: Basic level
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience supporting large-scale global tech environments or enterprise data centers
- Understanding of structured workflows for incident handling and infrastructure operations
