Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-performance Android applications for major fashion and marketplace services
- Implement modern UI/UX using Jetpack Compose and Kotlin-based architecture patterns
- Collaborate with international engineers to translate complex specifications into clean, scalable code
- Work with local persistence frameworks and RESTful APIs to ensure stability and reliable data management
- Perform testing and architectural design to optimize performance across different Android devices and OS environments
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Extensive Android development experience using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
- Proven experience with mobile architectures such as MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture
- Hands-on knowledge of local persistence solutions (Room / SQLite)
- Strong threading and concurrency skills (Coroutines, RxJava)
- Experience consuming RESTful APIs using Retrofit or OkHttp
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work within large-scale existing codebases
- Collaborative attitude with a focus on delivering high-quality user experiences
- Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively in a diverse technical team
Language Requirements:
- English: Fluent (required for daily collaboration)
- Japanese: Basic level acceptable (not required)
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional Android development experience (flexible depending on technical strength)
- Experience or familiarity with iOS development
- Interest in contributing to large-scale product modernization and UI evolution
