Roles/Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive user interfaces using Next.js and React.js for a seamless streaming experience across devices.
- Collaborate with backend developers and designers to implement interactive features and optimize the user experience.
- Ensure high performance and scalability of the frontend, handling large amounts of data and media assets.
- Conduct regular code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance improvements.
- Stay updated with the latest frontend development trends and best practices to continuously improve the platform.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Next.js and React.js, with a solid understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Experience with responsive design, UI/UX best practices, and handling high-traffic streaming services.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, version control (Git), and frontend build tools (Webpack, Babel).
Preferred skills
- Familiarity with backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, GraphQL, or API design) to effectively integrate frontend components with server-side logic.
- Proficiency in Japanese (business level or higher) to communicate effectively with local teams and stakeholders.
Personal Attributes
- Experience working in cross-functional teams, with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
