Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Java (JDK 11+).
- Implement and optimize relational/NoSQL databases (Couchbase, CockroachDB, TiDB, etc.).
- Build and deploy applications using containers on cloud platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features.
- Ensure system reliability, performance, and security through best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 5+ years of professional backend development with Java (JDK 11+).
- Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Proficiency with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Strong understanding of backend architecture and scalable system design.
- Business-level English communication skills.
Language Requirements
- Japanese: Basic level (for internal communication).
- English: Intermediate to Business (required for technical collaboration).
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in large-scale, high-traffic systems.
- Knowledge of microservices and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
