Join a global automotive software provider as an Automotive Sales Manager, leading key customer accounts and driving strategic sales initiatives. In this role, you will build strong relationships with automotive clients, understand their technical and commercial needs, and deliver tailored solutions that support their engineering and development goals. This position requires a blend of customer management, technical understanding, and strategic sales execution to ensure long-term account growth and business success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all sales activities for assigned automotive accounts to achieve revenue targets
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers and engineering teams
- Understand customer requirements and propose value-driven technical solutions
- Conduct regular customer visits, develop account plans, and negotiate contracts and pricing
- Coordinate with internal teams, including Field Application Engineers and sales support staff, to meet customer needs
- Manage order processing, service contracts, account receivables, and customer issues with accuracy and efficiency
- Develop strategic sales plans and monitor account performance to support continuous business growth
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, or technical roles related to automotive software or hardware tools
- Proven key account management experience
- Strong understanding of order processing and contract management
- Intercultural communication skills and English proficiency (TOEIC 700+ desirable)
- Experience with solution-based sales
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft PowerPoint

- Strong interpersonal skills to build long-term customer relationships
- Excellent verbal and written communication for cross-cultural interactions
- Persuasive negotiation abilities to secure contracts and favourable terms
- Strong problem-solving skills to propose effective customer solutions

Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Fluent
- English: Business level
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Engineering degree or technical background, preferably in automotive
- Knowledge of automotive systems, measurement/calibration, AUTOSAR, or model-based development
- Experience in strategic sales planning, key account development, or embedded software-related fields
