Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement technical countermeasures to combat global fraud and phishing threats
- Support anti-cybercrime operations through engineering solutions and intelligence analysis
- Build, deploy, and maintain tools for real-time fraud detection and process automation
- Conduct OSINT and threat research using internal and external data sources
- Lead CSIRT responses to active phishing and fraud-related incidents
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, cybercrime, or security engineering
- Strong programming proficiency in Python and working knowledge of SQL
- Deep understanding of fraud-related internet protocols such as HTTP, TLS, SMTP, DNS
- Ability to develop tools and contribute to technical defense strategies
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess, detect, and respond to emerging threats
Language Requirements
- Japanese: Intermediate to Business-level
- English: Intermediate to Business-level
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in additional languages such as Java, Go, C/C++
- Prior experience in CSIRT or hands-on anti-fraud response roles
- Familiarity with Japanese cybersecurity regulations and cybercrime laws
