Key Responsibilities
- Establish and continuously improve the AI oversight structure, from design to rollout and long-term governance.
- Develop and maintain AI risk assessment models and classification schemes in collaboration with business and system teams.
- Implement automated second-line monitoring and validate first-line control effectiveness.
- Enhance operational efficiency through improved workflows and digital automation tools.
- Monitor global AI regulations and standards, updating policies and training programs accordingly.
- Promote AI literacy and risk awareness across business units through ongoing education and communication initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Over 5 years of experience in data or technology risk, compliance, or audit functions.
- Practical exposure to AI governance and cloud transformation initiatives.
Knowledge:
- Understanding of AI risk frameworks, governance models, and regulatory trends.
Certifications (Preferred):
- AIGP, AWS AI Practitioner, or equivalent credentials are advantageous.
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Fluent (required for internal and regulatory communication).
- English: Intermediate to business level (for global coordination).
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a diverse and international environment.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with risk frameworks such as NIST or ISO standards (e.g., ISO 42001, ISO 42005).
- Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability.
- Understanding of emerging AI governance and automation technologies.
