The Role
The Planning and Analysis function is designed to guide and direct the business through robust forecasting, reporting, and high-level business partnering. As the Senior FP&A & Commercial Insights Lead, you will be integral to this mission, supporting the three-year strategic business planning process, annual budgeting, and quarterly financial forecasts. This role is vital for driving informed financial decision-making and strategy development across the organization.
Key Responsibilities

Support the delivery of the Three-Year Plan (3YP), Annual Budgeting, and Forecasting cycles.

Conduct strategic analysis on key commercial levers to drive business growth.

Empower stakeholders with timely, detailed, and meaningful insights regarding business performance to support critical decision-making.

Identify and implement process improvements in budgeting and forecasting to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.

Provide high-level analytical and decision support to the Finance Director and Senior Leadership team.

Proactively contribute to commercial and cross-functional projects by providing value-add analysis and insight.

Maintain clear and positive communication with stakeholders to ensure a deep understanding of financial performance drivers.
Requirement

Professional Qualification: ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent professional accountancy qualification.

Experience: 5+ years in a senior finance or analytical capacity.

Stakeholder Management: Proven experience managing and influencing stakeholders at a senior level.

Analytical Rigor: Strong numerical, data interpretation, and analytical skills.

Agility: Ability to make decisions at pace while working in a disciplined and agile manner.

Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the Irish retail industry is considered a distinct advantage.

Systems Focus: A process-driven mindset with a focus on systems (experience with Anaplan is an advantage).

Soft Skills: Flexible and adaptable, with strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
