    The Role

    The Planning and Analysis function is designed to guide and direct the business through robust forecasting, reporting, and high-level business partnering. As the Senior FP&A & Commercial Insights Lead, you will be integral to this mission, supporting the three-year strategic business planning process, annual budgeting, and quarterly financial forecasts. This role is vital for driving informed financial decision-making and strategy development across the organization.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support the delivery of the Three-Year Plan (3YP), Annual Budgeting, and Forecasting cycles.

    • Conduct strategic analysis on key commercial levers to drive business growth.

    • Empower stakeholders with timely, detailed, and meaningful insights regarding business performance to support critical decision-making.

    • Identify and implement process improvements in budgeting and forecasting to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.

    • Provide high-level analytical and decision support to the Finance Director and Senior Leadership team.

    • Proactively contribute to commercial and cross-functional projects by providing value-add analysis and insight.

    • Maintain clear and positive communication with stakeholders to ensure a deep understanding of financial performance drivers.

    Requirement

    • Professional Qualification: ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent professional accountancy qualification.

    • Experience: 5+ years in a senior finance or analytical capacity.

    • Stakeholder Management: Proven experience managing and influencing stakeholders at a senior level.

    • Analytical Rigor: Strong numerical, data interpretation, and analytical skills.

    • Agility: Ability to make decisions at pace while working in a disciplined and agile manner.

    • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the Irish retail industry is considered a distinct advantage.

    • Systems Focus: A process-driven mindset with a focus on systems (experience with Anaplan is an advantage).

    • Soft Skills: Flexible and adaptable, with strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
