Finance Business Partner (Commercial Operations & BPO Service Delivery)

About the Opportunity
Morgan McKinley is partnering with our long-established client, a market-leading retail and foodservice group with a prominent national and international footprint.
In this high-visibility position, you will serve as the primary owner for global commercial finance processes and act as the critical conduit between our strategic third-party BPO service provider and the internal Commercial Finance Leadership team.
Key Responsibilities

Service & Performance Ownership: Oversee end-to-end commercial finance delivery against strict SLAs, KPIs, and performance frameworks, serving as the primary escalation point.

Stakeholder Interface: Act as the strategic interface between senior leadership and the outsourced provider, translating commercial needs into clear service expectations.

Governance & Control: Maintain financial reporting integrity and internal controls compliance, managing SOPs, RACI matrices, and localized operational risks.

Operating Model Management: Run the tower's distributed operating model, ensuring tight alignment with enterprise planning and long-term corporate transformation initiatives.

Transformation & Change: Partner with functional subject matter experts to identify and implement standardization, automation, and optimization opportunities across retained and outsourced teams.
What We Are Looking For

Experience: 8-10+ years within retail/wholesale analytics, enterprise reporting, FP&A, or commercial operations.

Leadership Background: Minimum 5 years in an enterprise or global leadership role owning service delivery, data governance, reporting standards, or BI transformation.

Technical Competencies: Deep retail/wholesale domain expertise with proven skills in KPI framework design, data reconciliation, and operating model management.

Soft Skills: Exceptional cross-functional stakeholder engagement, analytical thinking, and structured change management capabilities.

Education: Degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Information Systems, or equivalent professional accountancy qualification.
