We are hiring for an experienced IT Business Analyst, with experience in Insurance Products built across IT platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Support Project Managers and/or Solution Delivery Managers on projects assigned to draft requirements from business departments
- Understand operations/ business functions and objectives to propose appropriate and efficient solutions
- Run gap analysis and requirements validation workshops with key internal stakeholders to build up optimised digital processes
- Conceptualise and Design user friendly user interface/flows
- Prepare detail specifications and design documents for business confirmation
- Ensure detail specifications complies with internal policies, procedures, standards, and audit requirements
- Manage scope of work and project schedule together with project team to meet agreed timeline committed to business
- Collaborate and work closely with project, vendor, and internal IT teams
Requirements:
- Strong business domain knowledge in insurance or related financial industry e.g. (Banking, Fintech etc.)
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in business analysis and/or consulting experience
- Strong quantitative, analytical, problem solving and process design skills that can translate analysis into solutions that meet business objectives
- Experienced in supporting techno-functional assessments across functions in insurance. Life and Group insurance experience is preferred
- Possess strong reasoning skills and able to bridge gaps between technology and business requirements
- Familiar with change management processes and project management fundamentals
