· Responsible in financial accounting & reporting work
· Min 2-3 years of Accounting/ Financial Reporting experience within INSURANCE industry
· 12 Months Contract/ Maternity Cover
· Basic Salary up to $ 7,000 + 1 Month Completion Bonus
· Experience in dealing with IFRS 17 project is highly preferred!
Job Responsibilities:
· Lead the preparation of accurate financial statements (including IFRS 17 reporting) and supporting documentation for internal and external use.
· Perform all necessary month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entry preparation and account reconciliations.
· Manage regulatory reporting requirements, including GST and corporate tax preparation and submission.
· Serve as a key liaison for external auditors and consultants to ensure smooth statutory audits and effective issue resolution.
· Contribute to strategic financial initiatives, including business planning, budgeting, and the maintenance of internal controls.
Minimum Requirements:
Min Bachelor Degree or Accounting Certified professional
Min 4-5 years of finance & accounting experience in the financial industry
Experience supporting finance & accounting work in the Insurance industry is a plus!
Previous experience with IFRS 17 projects is strongly preferred.
Significant experience in financial statement preparation and regulatory reporting.
Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks effectively.
