The Company
Our Client is a global leader in designing and manufacturing highly engineered, precision power conversion and control systems. For over 40 years, their cutting-edge technologies have powered mission-critical semiconductor manufacturing tools worldwide. They provide deep technical application engineering and support to major semiconductor chipmakers across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Connect, operate, and troubleshoot high-power, high-voltage electrical equipment across lab environments and cleanrooms.
- Drive measurement, data acquisition, and statistical process analysis (SPC) using digital tools like Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW to derive clear physical performance conclusions.
- Utilize VHDL environments to customize or update embedded logic configurations within RF generators and matching networks, adapting power parameters to highly volatile plasma conditions.
- Work closely with local and international sales, marketing, and product development units to provide consultative support and map complex customer requirements into design wins.
- Travel locally and internationally (~10-15%) to diagnose complex site integration issues and safely handle high-energy electrical components directly at client manufacturing plants.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Semiconductor Engineering, or Applied Physics.
- Possess functional knowledge of VHDL for hardware description logic programming.
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of hands-on technical experience within a semiconductor manufacturing or high-power electronics test environment.
- Practical experience utilizing electrical test instrumentation, including digital oscilloscopes, DVMs, LCR meters, and vacuum equipment components (pumps, valves, pressure gauges).
- Foundational knowledge of Data Analysis techniques including Statistical Process Control (SPC), data trending, and Design of Experiments (DOE).
