System Engineer - SAP, 12 months renewable contract

Responsibilities:

• SAP Basis administration and maintenance: This includes tasks such as system copy, transport management, applying OSS notes, applying SAP patches, installing SAP systems, and configuring SAP.
• Database management for SAP systems: This encompasses installing SQL databases, setting up availability replicas, and performing database backup and restore.
• SAP system server support and patching: Responsible for providing ongoing support and maintenance for SAP system servers, including applying necessary patches and updates.
• Collaboration and support activities: This involves working closely with internal users for system changes, as well as collaborating with vendors and service providers for solution planning, service delivery, and technical support.

Skills Reqd.:

• A recognized university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred.
• 4-6 years of experience in administering SAP NetWeaver ABAP & JAVA systems, database servers, and Windows servers.
• SAP Certified Technology Consultant certification is preferred, along with knowledge in project and vendor management, and strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficient in Cantonese and English.
