A well-established manufacturing company is searching for a Senior Accountant to join their team in Mississauga. You'll be a key member of the finance team, providing actionable insights that directly influence business decisions and growth. Core Responsibilities:
As Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for:
Execute month-end close procedures (cut-off, reconciliations including Bank, Balance Sheet, GL to Sub-ledger), prepare management reports, and support year-end audit documentation.
Analyze job gross profit and assist in major project ROI analysis and continuous improvement initiatives with the Director of Finance.
Develop and manage the annual budget, track performance, analyze variances, and prepare weekly Cash Flow and monthly Sales Forecasts.
Analyze actual vs. standard material and labor costs. Ensure accurate inventory reporting and manage the annual physical inventory count process, including reconciliation and reporting.
Maintain data integrity within the ERP system (Visual Manufacturing), prepare and file HST/tax returns, and assist with required regulatory compliance and surveys.
