Finance Business Partner - Offaly - 85K - 14 months

A well-established organisation, based in Offaly, is seeking an FP&A Accountant to join the team on a 14-month contract. This is a key Finance Partner position that will be responsible for supporting the finance operations for the business whilst also aligning systems & processes to the new Group. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be cross collaborating with stakeholders and Regional Directors to analyse company performance and provide analysis.
The organisation works on a hybrid model structure (3 days in office). There is also an option to work from the Dublin office for 2 days per week depending on the location of the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring weekly and monthly revenue results vs budget/forecast
- Forecasting / Budgeting
- Data extraction and analysis
- Build & maintain financial models for scenario planning, profitability, and Capex
- Monitor and review weekly KPIs
- Lead the implementation and integration of new processes and systems within the finance department as the organisation aligns to new processes
- Develop and execute change management plans to ensure a smooth integration to Group.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to gain buy-in and support for process improvements and changes.
Key Requirements
- Qualified accountant with minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance leadership role in a multi-site business of scale.
- Strong stakeholder management experience, with a focus on fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment (no people mangement involved in this role)
- Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook etc) and ERP systems, with experience optimizing these tools.
Contract Type
- Temporary (14 months) full time
- Full time 37.5 hour contract
- Working week Monday to Friday (Hybrid Working - 3 days per week in office)
