An opportunity to join a specialist trading technology firm building ultra-low-latency software used by financial institutions globally.

This role is suited to engineers who enjoy working close to the metal rather than relying on heavy frameworks. You'll contribute to real-time trading applications, market connectivity infrastructure and performance-critical systems where efficiency and engineering quality are paramount.

We're looking for builders. People who have created platforms, components or infrastructure from scratch and enjoy solving difficult technical problems.

Requirements:

* Expert Core Java
* Concurrency, threading and performance optimisation
* Low-latency distributed systems
* FIX Protocol
* Electronic Trading, Market Data or Capital Markets experience
* Strong communication skills
