An outstanding opportunity is now available for a Change Manager to lead the change management strategy for the Risk Excellence program at a leading financial institution. This role is key in supporting the transformation of this organisation's risk management processes, systems and capabilities to align with regulatory expectations and industry best practices. The Change Manager will define, deliver and measure change activities, ensuring they are embedded in project frameworks and delivering program outcomes within schedule and budget.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement change management strategies, plans and interventions to support the Risk Excellence program.
- Engage with key stakeholders, including senior managers and executives, to ensure alignment and adoption of change initiatives.
- Facilitate the integration of change management into both Agile and Waterfall project delivery frameworks.
- Measure and track change effectiveness, using insights to continually improve change efforts.
- Coach and support project teams, stakeholders and senior leaders in managing change.
- Collaborate with communication and learning specialists to drive successful change outcomes.
- Provide detailed reporting on change activities and effectiveness to the program steering committee.
To succeed in this role, you will offer:
- Demonstrated experience in Change Management, at a senior level within a financial services or related environment.
- Proven expertise in leading large-scale organisational change initiatives.
- Strong understanding of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with the ability to embed change management activities within them.
- Experience in delivering end-to-end change management projects, ideally within the risk domain.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Change management certification (e.g., PROSCI) is desirable but not essential.
