We're looking for a Senior Data Business Analyst with strong experience across enterprise data platforms, Azure and Databricks to join a major transformation initiative.
This is a hands-on role sitting between business, data and technology, where you'll be responsible for understanding complex data requirements, shaping solutions and working closely with technical and business stakeholders.
What we're looking for:
- 3+ years' experience delivering reporting, data analytics or reporting-system projects, with strong Agile Business Analysis experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure Databricks, including data, integration, storage, security and analytics services
- Proven ability to translate complex requirements into user stories, functional specifications, process flows, wireframes and technical requirements
- Experience working across data ingestion, integration, governance, security, networking, connectivity, Power BI, performance and cost management
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead workshops, challenge requirements and negotiate outcomes across business and technical teams
- Experience analysing existing data platforms and defining target-state architectures, data flows, data mapping, data lineage and migration/implementation roadmaps
- Strong understanding of system integration specifications and enterprise data environments
The opportunity
You'll play a key role in assessing the current data environment and helping define the future-state Azure/Databricks data platform, working across architecture, requirements, integration and implementation planning.
